July 2008

Brought to you by Jennifer Anderson

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the first issue of my brand new newsletter: Generous Success!

I spent a lot of time celebrating this past month. Most notably, I celebrated my 10th anniversary as a full-time Career, Life and Mentor Coach. Woo Hoo!!! It’s been a wonderful decade!

June also ushered in the launching of my brand new re-designed web site. You’ve probably already visited it once, but you’ll want to check back regularly as I’m updating the resources section on a frequent basis. Also, if you haven’t signed up for my blog, please take a moment to do that now. My blog will show you a different side of Coach Jen as I explore the questions being generated through my coaching of others.

Thanks for subscribing, reading and passing along my newsletter. I am happy to take any and all ideas for improvement – so let me know what you think!

Take great care...

Jen

Stories of Generous Success

Rock Steady Gym: How Boxing Talent is Saving Lives!

Ever wonder if your greatest talent could be used to save lives?

Kristy Rose Follmar doesn’t have to wonder.

This former female boxing champ has co-founded a gym in Indianapolis that teaches Parkinson’s patients how to box. By participating in this activity, their symptoms are seriously dissipated, allowing them to lead far more normal lives than many of them could have imagined.

What makes it even better?
They don’t have to pay!

Follmar, along with fellow boxing trainer Vincent Perez and Parkinson’s patient Scott Newman, have founded this gym as a non-profit organization. Because each has already experienced great success in life, they are able to apply their talents in a truly generous way!
